This notice describes how our Corkcicle store handles personal information when you browse, place an order, contact us or interact with our store. It covers our United States storefront and the choices available to you. In this notice, “we,” “us” and “our” refer to the store identified in the contact details below.
Information we receive
Information you provide can include your name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping addresses, account details, order selections, customer-service messages, return details and photographs you send about an issue. We also receive transaction information, such as the payment status, order amount and limited payment identifiers supplied by the payment service. Complete payment card information is handled through the payment provider's checkout system; please do not email us full card numbers or security codes.
As you use the storefront, the platform and technologies used on the site may collect your IP address, browser and device details, cookie or similar identifiers, pages viewed, referral information, shopping-cart activity and interactions with the site. Service providers may supply delivery updates, payment confirmations, security signals and related information needed to fulfill and protect a transaction.
How information is used
We use relevant information to receive and fulfill orders, process payments and refunds, arrange delivery, manage returns, answer questions and communicate order updates. It also supports account functions, fraud prevention, security investigations, record keeping and compliance with legal obligations. Site usage information helps maintain the storefront, understand performance and improve the shopping experience.
Where marketing or advertising features are used, contact details and online activity may support promotional messages, campaign measurement or relevant advertising, subject to your choices and applicable law. You may unsubscribe from promotional email using its unsubscribe link. Essential order, security or service messages may still be sent.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies and related tools can keep the cart working, remember preferences, secure sessions and measure site activity. Analytics and advertising technologies, when enabled, may link interactions to an identifier and may involve third parties. This type of advertising disclosure can constitute a sale or sharing under some state privacy laws even when no money is exchanged.
You can use available store privacy controls and your browser settings to manage cookies. Blocking necessary cookies can interfere with checkout or other functions. Preferences can be browser- or device-specific, and clearing cookies may require you to make the choice again. An email unsubscribe does not by itself change browser-based advertising preferences.
Service providers and other disclosures
Shopify hosts the storefront and supplies commerce services. Payment processors, delivery providers, communications services and other vendors receive information relevant to the services they perform. For example, the carrier needs delivery details and a payment provider needs transaction information. Analytics or advertising providers may receive online identifiers and activity when their services are enabled, subject to applicable privacy choices.
We may also disclose information when needed to comply with a lawful request, establish or defend legal rights, prevent fraud or protect people and the store. Information may be involved in a business transaction, subject to applicable protections. We do not claim that operating an online store involves no collection or sharing of personal information.
Retention and security
We retain information for the time reasonably needed for its purpose, including order fulfillment, returns, customer support, accounting, dispute resolution and legal requirements. Retention periods depend on the type of record and the reason it is held. A deletion request may be subject to a lawful retention exception.
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information and service, and rely on the security features of the commerce and payment platforms. No online transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. Keep account credentials private and notify us if you suspect misuse involving your store account or order.
United States privacy rights
Depending on your state of residence and the law that applies to our processing, you may request access to personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, or a portable copy. You may also have rights to opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising and to appeal a denied request. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
California residents may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), including the right to know about categories and specific pieces of information, to correct or delete information, and to opt out of sale or sharing. Where applicable, you may limit uses of sensitive personal information beyond permitted purposes. These rights are subject to the law's scope and exceptions; this notice does not restrict rights that apply to you.
Opt-out choices and Global Privacy Control
Use Your Privacy Choices to submit an available sale or sharing preference, or contact us at Support@corkcite.shop. Where the law requires it, a recognized Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal is treated as an opt-out preference for the browser or device that sends it. Shopify's privacy controls support these signals in configured regions. A signal may not automatically identify you across all devices or accounts; contact us for assistance applying a request more broadly.
A general browser “Do Not Track” setting is not necessarily the same as GPC. You can use the store's privacy choices page or contact us regardless of whether your browser offers a signal. We will review requests and provide information about how your choice has been applied.
Submitting a request
Email or phone us using the contact details below and state the right you wish to exercise. We may need information reasonably necessary to verify identity for access, correction or deletion, without asking you to send sensitive payment credentials. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted; we may ask for evidence of authority and appropriate verification. We respond within the period required by applicable law and explain a permitted extension, denial or relevant exception. If you wish to appeal a decision, contact us with the original request reference and the reason for the appeal.
Children's information
The store is intended for shoppers able to enter into a purchase, not for collecting personal information from children under 13. We do not knowingly seek such information. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action. Any processing involving minors remains subject to applicable protections.
Links and notice updates
Third-party sites and services may have their own privacy practices. Review their notices when you choose to use them. We may update this notice as our operations or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the latest version, and additional notice will be provided where required.
